JOB PURPOSE
The Associate Business Development Manager, will have an individual
target and be responsible for building new donor relationships and for
managing existing donor relationships.
The Associate Business Development Manager will be required to
identify potential funding opportunities and to develop a strong
fundraising pipeline and will also build strong relationships with
current donors.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will work with the Business Development team
and report directly to the Business Development Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
* Research, identify and solicit funding from prospective funders
across corporates, trusts and foundations and high-net worth
individuals
* Develop a strong pipeline of prospective funders across all areas
* Create, foster and maintain excellent relationships with current
and new partners
* Work closely with other teams in the organisation to create strong
cases for support and impact reports Perform any other business
development activities as required by the Business Development Manager
and Business Development Team.
* Act as an ambassador for Rethink Ireland at all times.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* You have a proven sales or fundraising track record over **Apply

* You have a proven track record of securing 5/6 figure donations
* You can show a track record in working with corporate donors or
customers and / or high net worth families and individuals as donors
* You have excellent communication skills and the ability to write
clearly and persuasively
* You have experience leading productive meetings and creating
inspiring pitches
* You love the art of negotiating, have great powers of persuasion,
and the ability to close the deal
* You are a resilient individual, who is self-motivated, with a
strong work ethic
* You have strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and
highly organized
* You have knowledge of philanthropic organisations in Ireland and
abroad
* You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to strict
deadlines
* You have a warm and friendly personality and enjoy working with a
team
* You demonstrate the highest levels of integrity
* You are passionate about making Ireland a better place and are
committed to Rethink Ireland’s mission and values.

* Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
